Financially solid and committed to ongoing growth, they are currently seeking an Estimator/Purchasing Officer/Contract Administrator to join their close knit Team and play an important role in the smooth operation of the company.
This position will report directly to the Managing Directors and, for the right individual, will provide the opportunity to advance to Senior Management.
The ideal Candidate must have experience in Estimating, Contracts Administration & Purchasing along with a solid understanding of Construction; or a closely related field. You must be self motivated, possess a keen willingness to learn and share new ideas and be able to work equally well autonomously and as part of an already successful Team.
After training, and when you are both confident and competent, you will have complete ownership of:
Tender Administration
Contract Administration
Estimating / Cost Control
Client Liaison, and
Contractor Liaison
To be successful in this position, you will definitely need:
Advanced DataBuild and Excel skills
Excellent Communication skills (both Verbal and Written)
An outgoing and friendly personality, with the ability to build strong relationships with both Clients & Contractors
A “Hands-On” approach to work and be able to “Roll up your Sleeves” when necessary, and
Be analytically minded (i.e. Methodical, Meticulous, Accurate and Technical)
