This organisation is an industry leader in the Telecommunications field and provides independent, 3rd party removed, professional advice to its Clients in the areas of Expense Management, Auditing, Bench Marking and Bill Analysis; for both Landline and Mobile Phone Services.
Using their internationally acclaimed, “State of the Art”, software, they Analyse, Audit and Review their Client’s Data, providing them with detailed reports and recommendations on how they can more efficiently, and more cost effectively utilise their telecommunications systems. As you would already know, this is (typically) a HUGE outgoing expense for most companies and an area that is (typically) lacking in “Professional” review!
Working closely with all the different areas of this small niche business, and reporting directly to the Managing Director, the position of the Operations Manager is a varied and important one. Potentially the most important of all the functions of the role is managing the process of turning Client Data into Client Proposals and Solutions!
While you are well supported, with both local and overseas resources, and the system does approximately 90% of the work, you will still be required to manage the process, direct those resources and juggle a number of different projects all at once while continuing to drive, and continually improve, the process.
In addition to managing the analysis/solution process, you will also be required to provide the Business Development/Account Managers with assistance and support in the preparation of Tender Responses, Proposals and other Sales Support Materials.
Ideally, we are looking for someone who has current, or previous, experience in the Telecommunications industry, who is dynamic, self motivated and has a basic understanding of Landline, Mobile and Internet Carrier Services/Plans. Some Financial and/or Accounting experience would also be highly regarded.
As you can imagine, Time Management, Project Management and Process Improvement are all critical aspects of this role and potential Candidates will need to be able to demonstrate their current and/or previous experience and success in these areas.
