Due to continued solid growth, a recent change has been made to the company structure to include a second Victorian Area Manager. This Area Manager will be responsible for 4 existing Retail Sites in Victoria’s North/North West, with the potential to have additional Stores added down the track.
The successful Individual will need to be a “Hands-On” Leader who has the ability to engage and develop each of their Teams; located in each of their Retail Stores. Your experience dealing with high stock volumes, delivering excellent Customer Service, exceptional merchandising standards and having a high attention to detail, will all be required in this position.
Your positive attitude, coupled with a solid knowledge of the Retail Industry, is what will set you apart in this role. You will be involved in the strategic growth plans for the future and you will work side by side with the other Victorian Area Manager, reporting to the Victorian Regional Manager, to deliver the results!
In partnership with the Store Managers, you will have full responsibility for:
* Coordinating all aspects of store performance; including Sales and KPI's
* Ensuring Company Processes and Procedures are adhered to
* Training and Developing Staff
* Managing Product, Merchandising and Administration
* Encouraging the Team and creating an innovative working Culture
* Understand, and appropriately use, relevant data to identify trends and opportunities, and implement improvements
* Control Store expenses within agreed budgets
* Correctly interpret the Brand values through Staff and Store presentation
* Ensure that visual merchandising standards are correctly implemented
The ideal Candidate for this role will:
* Understand the key drivers of the Company’s Customers
* Have a proven Sales record
* Have strong Communication skills
* Have strong Problem Solving skills
* Have experience in Motivating, Managing, Developing and Leading a Team
* Have a passion for Furniture and Homewares products
* Be comfortable with a truly “Hands-On” approach to Team leadership
